What's the one you still think about?

No form fields to fight with. No severity to pick. Just tell it the way you'd tell it to somebody at a bar who also writes code.

Start wherever it starts. What broke, what you tried, what actually fixed it, and what you do differently now. Markdown works, and code fences are welcome if the query is the punchline.

No minimum, no maximum

Your name and handle stay off the page. The badge still lands on your profile, and story notifications can still reach you, because both follow the account rather than the byline.

Here's what happens next. It lands in a queue only I can see, with a title and a web address drafted for it automatically. I read it, fix the title if the machine got it wrong, check it for anything that identifies somebody, and file it under a severity. If story notifications are on, the site emails you when it publishes and if it reaches the front page. A story I do not publish does not send an email, so your account still shows every submission and where it stands.

Sign in first and this wakes up.

The long version lives in the submission terms. It says the same thing with more commas. The code of conduct applies here too.
